Development Director

We are looking to hire our first Development Director to oversee and grow a comprehensive fundraising strategy that will expand revenue streams and build greater public awareness of our mission and vision. This position will report to the Executive Director, and work in partnership with the ED, as well as collaborate with Board, staff and dedicated volunteers, to streamline, institutionalize and grow our fundraising programs and capacity. The ideal candidate is creative, pro-active, detail oriented and an excellent communicator, with a demonstrated interest in urban environmental issues, the Gowanus neighborhood, and/or community based education, stewardship and design advocacy.
