Bioswale Maintenance Classes

Learn how to take care of Green Infrastructure!

Our Bioswale Maintenance Training class starts up this Spring! Sign up for this free course starting March 29 to learn about NYC’s newest curbside gardens. Thousands of bioswales will play an important role in managing stormwater and reducing sewage overflow. In 16 hours of free training learn how bioswales work, common bioswale plant and weed identification and how you as a volunteer can help maintain this important public space.

Class limited to 10 participants. Priority given to residents, businesses and schools in the Gowanus Watershed neighborhoods (Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Gowanus, and Prospect Heights).
